Type Poster

For this project, we created a triptych poster series based on a typeface and the typographer who created that typeface.

I chose to do the project on the font "Bodoni" created by Giambattista Bodoni. 

In order to create a poster relevant to our font, we researched and created studies that would ensure the best set of posters.

Although the font, "Bodoni," was created in the 1700's it is still used in very modern contexts today. One of its most famous uses is for the cover of "Elle" magazine. I used this to inspire the direction of my poster series.

For the final application, I used Bodoni as a title and decorative font and Univers as the font for the body text.
